Statistics is a form of mathematical investigation that utilizes quantified models, representations and synopses for a given set of experimental data or genuine examinations.

The undergraduate program in Statistics provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills related to probability, mathematical statistics, data analysis, and statistical computing.  With the recent rise of Big Data, Data Science, and Analytics, the demand for this set of skills has increased substantially.

Market Value:

There is a huge scope of statistics in Pakistan in almost every field. Studying statistics is not an easy task but getting a job for BS statistics is not a difficult task. The average Statistician salary in Pakistan is PKR 319,596 per year or PKR 30,000 per month. Entry level positions start at PKR 26,000 per month while most experienced workers make up to PKR 80,000 per month.

Admission Criteria:

BS in Statistics is a four years program under semester system. This program provides essential instruction in statistical methods, applications and theory. For admission in BS Statistics candidate need at least 12-years education from an accredited educational institution, with a minimum of 50% marks. Valid NTS score as per policy of CIIT
