Game Development is an art of creating games including the design, development and release of a game. It is a six-step process starting with a story, design, sounds, programming, testing and of course its release. While creating a game, it is important to think about the game mechanics, rewards, player engagement and level designing.
A four-year certification program (bachelor) in software engineering/ computer sciences/ information technology is a program that is required for the game development field. Final year projects in gaming will be a plus.
Market value
The normal game developer’s pay in Pakistan is PKR 600,000 to 960,000 every year or PKR 50,000- 80,000 every month. Section-level positions start at PKR 50,000 every month while most experienced resources make up to PKR 250,000 every month.
While compensation can vary incredibly depending on various variables, including position title, performance, and long term experiences.
