Waqas Qadeer is Founder of SmartSindh; he came up with idea and vision of SmartSindh and SmartMentor to help/empower millions of people though bridging the knowledge gap and connecting minds.

Hiring (Position vacant)
SmartSindh is looking for a full time CEO to take the vision and execution of SmartSindh forward, help in collaborations with different stakeholders, drive the execution strategy for mentoring and empowering millions of students/graduates, MoUs, Fundraising / Grants, Implementing United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to eradicate poverty/joblessness/hunger in Sindh via Digital Skills Development Programs, Freelancing and Gig Economy. CEO will also be responsible to work pro-actively to partner with UNDP Pakistan, Asian Development Bank, USAID, Sindh Educational Institutes to facilitate/enable all stakeholders as a bridge/catalyst/technology arm to create positive, social and economic impact in Sindh and create thousands of employment opportunities, jobs, online earnings, youth empowerment, mentoring/advising young generation in career roadmaps, women empowerment initiatives in Sindh.

P.S: There will be salary of 150k-200k PKR for this role as a full time role.

Shamsuddin A Shaikh

Mr Shamsuddin A Shaikh has an extensive career, in planning, developing & executing Mega Industrial projects in the Mining, Energy, FMCG, Fertilizer & Chemicals business. During his 30+ years of experience, he has held key leadership positions in manufacturing, sales, commercial & supply chain function. Mr Shaikh served as CEO in Engro Energy. After taking early retirement from Engro, he decided to venture into another dream project for Pakistan “The RekoDiq gold & copper project at Chagai, Balochistan”. Currently, he is also serving as the Chairman of Amantech, a not for profit vocational centre. He has a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and masters in engineering & MBA from Colorado State University.
Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry

Prof. Dr BS Chowdhry is a Distinguished National Professor, Member BOG HEC, Member BOG PEC and Professor Emeritus and Former Dean, Faculty of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology. He has remained Guest Scientist/Associate of the ICTP (under umbrella of UNESCO/UNU), Trieste Italy for Twelve (12) Years and three times European Union Erasmus Mundus visiting Fellow.
Saqib Shah

Mr. Saqib Shah is a Reinsurance Consultant based in Miami, Florida – USA. After being affiliated with Swiss Reinsurance for many years, he decided to start his own consultancy in 2016. Mr Shah has catered to several insurance companies during the course of his career, and is thoroughly well-versed in the aviation-reinsurance market.
Mr. Shah is also a motivational-speaker and a community worker. He has helped scores of companies from developing countries in setting up their operations in the US.
Aisha Memon

Ms Aisha Memon works in Data Governance and Democratization at Cisco. She is passionate about driving transformation in Pakistan by partnering with Academia, validating ideas, mentoring students, and supporting budding entrepreneurs. Ms Memon is based in San Francisco, California – USA
Ghulam Mohiuddin Morai

Mr Ghulam Mohiuddin Morai is a Civil Engineer by trade and a successful businessman. He has completed several highway construction projects throughout Texas in the past 2 decades. He also has numerous years of commercial real estate active investments’, operations’ and logistics’
experience. He is based in Houston, Texas – US.

Mr Siddique Khurram is a Clinical assistant professor at Sam Houston state university and Surgical oncologic pathologist at North cypress medical center. He is the founding president of Pakistani American Pathologists Society (PAPS). He is based in Houston, Texas – USA.

Originally from Shikarpur, Faheem did his undergraduate degree from the Sukkur Institute of Science and Technology (SiSTech) and graduate from the Virtual University of Pakistan. He started his professional career as a software engineer in Islamabad and moved to the USA in 2008. Faheem is passionate about helping people achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on society.
Adnan Siddiqui
Mr Adnan Siddiqui had a long and distinguished career at IBM for 30 years. He was the Country General Manager for IBM Pakistan & Afghanistan before he moved to IBM Middle East & Africa headquarters in Dubai to establish IBM Commerce business unit. He was leading Retail Industry in the Middle East region when he left IBM to join Gulf Business Machines as Alliance & Partnerships Executive. Adnan is based in Dubai, UAE.
